Free eBook offer 2022

TRANSFORM TRANSITION

**MAY 2022 ONLY FOR THE FIRST 850 SCHOOLS**

Want to try our amazing customised eBook

Free to new clients who follow us on Twitter from their school account (or send this info to three schools).

Then email us to confirm your interest:

info@honeycombbooks.co.uk

Our free eBooks went to 6,000+ families during the pandemic to help with school readiness from home.

How to create your free eBook:

Send us the photos in one batch via WeTransfer, with idiot-proof labelling of the names & titles as you want them to appear in the book. e.g. This is the headmistress, Ms Honey.

You do not need a WeTransfer account. It is a free and safe file sharing service. You may just be asked to verify your email account. Phone photo quality is perfect.

We cannot use pixilated images OR photos embedded or combined in PDFs, emails or Word.

We need 5 photos:

- The school

- A girl & boy in September uniform & P.E. kit

- Head of the Lower School (or similar)

- The class teacher.

See our example for inspiration here.

Tips:

School Photo:

What will children see first on their first day?

The entrance or classroom can also work.

Sunshine helps.

We need the name of the school exactly as you would like it to appear on the front and back page (preferably in its simplest form - it is a children's book, after all... i.e. omit 'Voluntary Controlled').

Uniform Photos:

Keep the shoes in.

Think about demographics.

Smiling and at eye level works well.

Head and teacher photos:

Include the school preference between Head Teacher, Headteacher, Head...as well as Ms, Mr, Dr...

Focus on faces.

Use simple backgrounds.

If the class teacher is unconfirmed then we can use a group shot of the EYFS team.

Brick wall or greenery works well as a background.

Professional-ish posture and outfit.

Smiling or similar.
